Experience a comfortable yet unique stay in the stunning Aït Bougmez valley, where you will be able to discover the daily life of the Berber farmers. Your accommodation will be in a traditional house decorated with comfort in mind, featuring double rooms with bathrooms and terraces that offer a breathtaking view of the valley. During your week-long stay, you will go on foot to explore the beautiful villages of the “happy valley” that celebrates the simple life and traditions of the central High Atlas’ agricultural communities.

Tour Plan
Arrival in Marrakech. Night at the hotel.
Departure by minibus for the Bougmez valley (about 5 hours drive). Lunch break with a picnic or in a small restaurant. Discovery on the way of the first beautiful villages at the foothills of the Atlas. Installation for several days in our comfortable Gite accommodation (1850m).
We walk towards the villages of Aït Imi and its water mills, Rbat and Akourbi. Picnic at the Toiya springs. Before arriving at the village of Ibakliwne, discovery of dinosaur footprints. Return through Souk El Had and overnight at the Gite.
We climb up the Irf N'Ighir valley, passing Isskatafene. We take the Tizi N'Aït Ouriat path to reach the beautiful village of Ahbay via a small pass (2200m). Picnic near the bergeries and overnight at the Gite.
Departure on foot to Sidi Moussa, visit to the granary. Descent on Aguerd N'Ouzrou, where dinosaur tracks are discovered, then continuation in the valley. Dinner and overnight at the Gite.
Ascent of the very pretty Arous valley up to Ikkis and its waterfalls (2200m). Dinner and overnight at the Gite.
Short walk and transfer to Marrakech. Night at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport.
