Tour Plan
Upon arrival at Tangier, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to the charming blue-washed town of Chefchaouen. Spend the day exploring the picturesque streets of the medina and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of this unique town.
Today, you will depart Chefchaouen and make your way towards the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From there, you will continue to Meknes, the former capital of Morocco, where you will have the opportunity to explore its historic medina and impressive imperial architecture. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Fes and check into your riad.
Spend the day exploring the fascinating city of Fes, which is considered the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Visit the historic medina, a labyrinthine maze of narrow streets and alleyways lined with shops selling spices, textiles, and traditional crafts. You will also visit the famous tanneries, where leather is still dyed and processed using traditional methods.
Today, you will depart Fes and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the small town of Midelt. From there, you will continue through the stunning Ziz Valley to the Sahara Desert town of Merzouga. In the late afternoon, you will embark on a camel trek to a luxury desert camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you will spend the night.
After an early morning sunrise over the dunes, you will return to Merzouga by camel and continue your journey towards the Todra Gorge. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore the narrow canyon and enjoy a scenic hike. In the afternoon, you will continue to the Dades Valley, where you will spend the night.
Today, you will depart the Dades Valley and make your way to the Hollywood of Africa, Ouarzazate. Here, you will visit the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular filming location for many Hollywood movies. In the afternoon, you will continue to Marrakech, where you will check into your riad.
Spend two days exploring the vibrant city of Marrakech, which is known for its bustling souks, ornate palaces, and beautiful gardens. Visit the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where snake charmers, musicians, and storytellers gather each evening. You will also have the opportunity to explore the historic medina and visit attractions such as the Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, and Saadian Tombs.
Today, you will depart Marrakech and travel to the coastal town of Essaouira, a charming seaside town with a rich history and vibrant arts scene. Spend the day exploring the town's medina, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy the fresh seafood at the local restaurants.
On your final day, you will depart Essaouira and travel to Casablanca, where you will have the opportunity to visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco and one of the largest in the world. After the visit, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your 10-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech, Fes, and the Sahara Desert.
